What Couples Ask Us

What is the secret to an unforgettable wedding ceremony?
Choose a picture perfect-setting. Select professionals who have years of experience and who take great pride in conducting perfect ceremonies and planning destination weddings. If you have these, everything else will fall into place! (Did we forget? Pray for good weather.)

How do we book our date with you?
You can book with a credit card or PayPal here or if we meet in person by cash or check. A 50% deposit is required to hold the date and time. If a package is reserved, 50% of the package price is required to hold the date and time. The balance is due on or before the wedding date prior to the ceremony. We file your marriage license once your balance is paid in full.

What if we have to cancel the wedding. Is the deposit refundable?
If, for some reason, you should cancel or postpone your wedding or choose to cancel our services 60 days or more prior to the date, we will gladly refund 50% of your deposit or apply it to a new date. If you should cancel or postpone less than 60 days prior to the wedding, the deposit is nonrefundable and cannot be applied to a new date. We hope you understand that we will have turned down being of service to others on your original wedding date.

What if our wedding is canceled because of a natural disaster - Hurricane, tornado, red tide outbreak ... can we get a refund?
While we do not issue refunds, you can absolutely apply the deposit to another date. We will work with you every step of the way to rearrange all of your services.

How long does the wedding ceremony take?
We advise couples to budget 18-25 minutes on average. The ceremony begins with the processional or entrance – short or long, a greeting, consent/vows, optional readings/traditions or special songs, ring exchange, benediction, pronouncement and recessional or exit. Note: While our officiants are happy to take weather delays of 20 minutes into consideration, it is important to plan on an alternate site during our tropical storm season (June-November).

If we book a wedding package (Officiate, Photography, Hair & Makeup, et.) and then cancel specific services – is this money taken off the balance or refunded?
Vendors that are reserved on your behalf and deposits made at booking may be subject to forfeiture. Keep in mind when we reserve the date on the calendar, these vendors forego future bookings and hold the date for us.

May we customize our wedding ceremony and include family, friends and children in the ceremony?

Our philosophy is “your wedding, your way.” Once we know your vision for the wedding and ceremony, we will provide you ceremony and vow samples, tips, ideas and our best advice. We will ask you both questions to help make the ceremony your own and can include anything you like to honor or make it special for children, family members or friends.

Is there an additional fee to include unity sand, wishing stones, etc?
There is no additional fee to include a tradition and we’ll help you with the words and flow of the ceremony. You will need to provide the materials – such as sand vessels, wishing stones, etc.

Do you charge extra for a rehearsal and why?
You may or may not need us to do an onsite rehearsal. In many cases, we can diagram the flow of the ceremony and prepare you to do a walk-thru (DIY). Depending on the size of the wedding party and complexity of the ceremony, we will advise you if you should have a rehearsal coordinated by us the day before to make sure everyone is comfortable. There is an additional fee of $125 to coordinate the rehearsal onsite ($150 for Anna Maria Island, Venice, St. Petersburg and Englewood).

Can pets be included in the ceremony or wedding party?

Many locations do not allow pets/dogs/etc.; however, there are exceptions. Please contact us to confirm.


If we book a professional photographer through you, how do we get our images/pictures?
The photographers we work with promise 48-72 hour turnaround to upload your images to an online gallery for viewing by friends and family. You own the images, which means you can download and print where you like or order prints from the photographer.


What does an officiant wear to the ceremony and when do you arrive?
We will always ask you what you and your wedding party are wearing so we can “blend” accordingly. Typically, we dress in neutral, tasteful attire (white, khaki or black) from casual cotton/linen to business attire. We arrive 20-25 minutes ahead of the ceremony to meet everyone, collect the marriage license, secure the rings, etc.
